Seaman Donald Macdonald 20 Upper Bayble was the son of Donald and Mary Macdonald of the same address. His body was never recovered. His name is on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial.
He was my fathers only brother.

In the Second World War Tribute book his details and those of Norman Macdonald 19 Upper Bayble ( his childhood friend and neighbour who was lost 4 months after Donald) have been mistakenly put in a single entry .
